The president of the college earned his doctoral degree in Human Resources Education in May 1994 from Boston University in Boston, MA. Prior to his selection as the president, he had three year's experience working with the college as a faculty member and the director of the Cultural Affairs department. In addition, he has 14 years of administrative experience in the K-12 grades in Montana and as the director of a multifunctional resource center in Alaska. |

Dr. Scott earned his Ph.D. degree in Wildlife Ecology from Auburn University in 1971. He has taught 22 different courses in biology, ecology, and natural resources management at 4 universities and 2 colleges. He served as Director of The Institute of Natural Resources at Montana State University, and was a Research Biologist in Yellow Stone National Park. He also has had experience teaching disadvantaged youth in summer Resource Management Camps. |
