The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) is a degree program of specific training in an occupational career field. These programs prepare the graduates to assume entry level positions in business management and administration. Additionally, these courses enhance the skills of students already in the workforce through the acquisition and application of leadership, and managerial skills. A minimum of 60 credit hours in a combined occupational and academic program is required for the Associate in Applied Science Degree. A cumulative grade-point-average of 2.0 or better is required in the credits earned toward the A.A.S. Degree.
