Certificate Programs
Certificate programs are designed for students who seek to acquire occupational skills in specific training programs that are shorter in duration or narrower in scope than those leading to the A.A.S. Degree. A certificate is awarded for satisfactory completion of courses or programs of 30-48 credit hours. Specific requirements vary with each certificate program. This program requires a cumulative grade-point-average of 2.0.

Program Learning Outcomes
The Certificate in Cheyenne Language Instruction is designed for Cheyenne first language speakers desirous of instructing the next generation of Cheyenne speakers and provides a background in classroom instruction techniques and methods as well as instruction in Cheyenne grammar writing.
Upon completion of the specified coursework the graduate will:
- Will be able to communicate orally and in writing both Cheyenne and English.
- Will successfully complete/maintain their Montana OPI class 7 examination.
- Will demonstrate the necessary critical thinking and academic skills required of classroom instructors.
- Will be able to analyze and evaluate curricular material.
