Associate in Applied Science
The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) is a degree program of specific training in an occupational career field. This program of study offers students a strong background in Cheyenne language and culture and prepares the student for the Montana Class 7 Examination. A minimum of 60 credit hours in a combined occupational and academic program is required for the Associate in Applied Science Degree. A cumulative grade-point-average of 2.0 or better is required in the credits earned toward the A.A.S. Degree.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the specified coursework the graduate will:
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate in the Cheyenne Language both in written form and oral performance.
- Exhibit a Cheyenne culturally influenced understanding of the educational process.
- Demonstrate the necessary critical thinking, academic skills and teaching skills to be successful in the classroom.
- Pass the Montana Class 7 Certificate examination.
